Oasi Verde Mengara is a country house placed in Gubbio, a very beautiful medieval town in Umbria.
The ancient house of Oasi Verde Mengara, with its farm and its restaurant, was restored in 1990 by the owners, Andrea and Carla Rossi.
There is also a chapel in Oasi Verde Mengara. It seems that Saint Francis of Assisi prayed here. The chapel is placed along the Franciscan Way that goes from Assisi to Gubbio.
Oasi Verde Mengara coutry house has a big garden where guests can relax and children can play (seesaw, slipway, blockhouse, ping pong). There is also a swimming pool placed in the green country.
Guests of Oasi Verde Mengara can eat in the inner restaurant, which offers dishes of the typical Umbrian cuisine.
Corn, spelt, honey and other products are cultivated in the biological farm of Oasi Verde Mengara.
The country house is surrounded by woods and grazings where guests can walk and where they cam mushroom in autumn.
